Reviews of customer
Helpful review: I had two intentions with this lift:
1) To give my 4×4 a more authentic appearance (come on GM…Z71’s used to have higher stock pickups)
2) To prevent my 285/75/16’s (33’s) from rubbing (this kit also offered shocks, which replaced my 12-year-old originals, as a bonus). So, I ended up getting the shocks replaced as well… sweet.
Now, let me clarify a few things:
1) Although you don’t necessarily need a “Torsion bar removal tool,” it might be safer to use one. I ordered it initially but returned it after reading the instructions provided in the kit. The “tools needed” section recommended a Ball Joint Remover like OTC 7249 (which you can rent from Autozone for a $100 deposit, refundable upon tool return). I used the Ball Joint remover but had to find a workaround since it tended to slip under pressure. Luckily, the cross member that holds the Torsion Keys has a hole on top, conveniently located where you set the Ball Joint Remover. I simply inserted a stubby screwdriver into that hole and placed the stubby shaft into the cross member hole, effectively locking the top of the BJR in place to prevent slippage. After that, it was smooth sailing. I cranked up the key to remove the bolt/nut block/key and installed the new key. Reversing the process, I reinstalled the new keys. Simple.
2) The “tools needed” section mentions an 18 mm socket (for the torsion key adjuster bolt) and a 21 mm socket (for shocks/U bolts), which is accurate. However, it fails to mention that you’ll also need a 22 mm socket for the new U bolt nuts.
3) The new blocks have a nipple that must align with the hole on the axle bracket. Remember, the front side of the vehicle is shorter than the rear side because the new blocks are tapered.
3a) The instructions suggest removing wheels, shocks, etc. But here’s a time-saving tip:
** While on a level surface, crawl under the bed and remove one side of the U-bolts and shock. Grab a jack and position it directly under the leaf spring. Lift the leaf spring until there’s enough gap to slide in the block. Lower the leaf spring and attach the new U-bolts, then tighten them. Repeat the process on the other side. Seriously, using an impact wrench, this should only take you about 15-20 minutes.
4) As for the ride… well, I haven’t noticed much of a difference, except that it feels like it has better shocks, providing a sturdier feel. I wouldn’t say it’s rough by any means, just a bit stiffer. Is it the shocks or a rougher ride? I can’t really say for sure, but either way, I’m happy with it.
5) This kit does not include shock boots…FYI.
Hey I hope this helps you guys “pull the trigger” on this kit. I am really satisfied with the new look of my old pickup. I wish I would’ve done it sooner. It’s a daily driver / family truck so don’t expect this lift to satisfy your “Monster” truck aspirations. Time will tell if the new CV angles will be an issue, but Parts Geek . com has em for $54 so I’m not too concerned.
Enjoy your new stance… – SoTexSmoker

2/3″ Front and 2″ Rear Leveling Lift Kits for Dodge Ram 1500
Top-rated: 680+++ ratings | 138+++ answered questions
Compatibility: From 2009 to 2019, the Dodge Ram 1500 4WD was available, while the 2020-2023 Ram 1500 2WD/4WD (New Body Style) is the latest model. Please note that these do not fit the Ram 1500 2WD Mega Cab, TRX, or Rebel models.
Highlight: The strut lift spacers are CNC precision machined from forged 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. These adapters are specially powder-coated in an attractive black finish, providing better corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance.
Reviews of customer
Helpful review: I had these spacers installed on my truck to raise its height for aesthetic purposes. However, if you plan on upgrading for off-roading reasons, I wouldn’t recommend them. The spacer kit mainly serves the purpose of enhancing the appearance of the vehicle and has no significant impact on off-road performance. In fact, it might even cause additional stress on front suspension parts such as ball joints and a-arms.
That being said, I must mention that I use my truck strictly on paved roads. I applied the spacers solely to level my truck and fit nicer tires. If leveling is all you’re looking for, this product is definitely a great choice. However, I would suggest considering a 2.75 inch spacer instead of the 3 inch option. Additionally, I didn’t install the rear spacers as it would have raised the entire truck, leaving the back higher than the front. By adding the 3 inch spacer to the front, it leveled the truck almost perfectly, with only about an 1/8 inch difference in height. – jimuntu
Trending review: I am satisfied with the outcome. The instructions were clear, but I would like to emphasize the importance of using a spring compressor. Before lowering the jack, compress the spring. While a spring compressor was necessary for the rear, the task was manageable without one for the front. However, if I had to do it again, I would opt to use a compressor for the front as well.
I highly recommend installing both compressors, rather than just one in the front, as mentioned in a review. This is due to the truck’s body lines, which can appear distorted with only the front lifted. While a 3-inch lift in the front does level it out, I personally did not find it visually appealing. Take a look at the attached pictures to see for yourself. – michael glappa
Most-discussed review: I successfully achieved my goal of leveling my 2014 Ram 1500 Laramie and fitting 35s without spending a fortune. Initially, I considered the Rough Country lift, but after extensive research on Ram forums, I decided to go a different route. I went with a combination of a lift and Mevotech UCA’s which cost me around $210, significantly less than the Rough Country alternative. With the help of a friend, we completed the lift and UCA replacement in about 3 hours. The end result was a satisfying 3.5″ lift, eliminating the rake and providing a factory-like ride. Putting around 1k miles on it, I haven’t experienced any issues or rubbing so far. I do want to mention that an alignment is necessary after the lift installation. All in all, the total cost came to $1040, including the $210 lift, $700 for a set of Atturo XT’s 35×12.50×20, and an alignment and tire installation for $130. Despite some expected tire noise, I am extremely pleased with the outcome of this upgrade. – Aaron B
Updated review: I’m happy to report that I installed this kit on my 2014 Ram 1500 Crew cab 4×4 and it provided a decent amount of lift and leveled the truck out nicely. The installation process was made easier with the use of a spring compression tool. After the installation, I was able to easily fit 35×12.50r20 tires on the factory 20’s without any rubbing, even at full angles. While the ride is slightly stiffer, it’s not something that is terribly noticeable. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the results. – Amazon Customer

Reviews of customer
Helpful review: This product is a great value for the money. The height was just right – not too high at 2 inches, and 1 inch would not have been enough. Although the instructions were detailed, they were not entirely necessary. It suggested taking apart the whole front end to insert the bolts from the top, but the axle was in the way. However, if you cut the bolt, you can insert it from the bottom without hitting the axle. With the help of a ratchet strap and some pry bars, you can easily install this in about 30 minutes. The only concern I have is the longevity. The block seems like it might come off the control arm due to its placement, but I assume it has been tested and secured properly. Time will tell! – Donny
Trending review: The 2.5 inch leveling kit from this manufacturer is perfect. As a mechanic with 17 years of experience, I found it easy to install, especially after reading the instructions. It took me about 45 minutes to install it in a shop on a lift, but it might take a bit longer if you’re doing it on the ground. I used it on a 2018 z71 extended cab, and after alignment, it was exactly level. Before purchasing a kit, make sure to measure your truck, as other trucks may vary. I’ve used several kits from this manufacturer, and they all worked flawlessly. I particularly like that the blocks are made of aluminum, not a poly material. To ensure clearance of the CV joint on a 4×4, use a torque wrench and install the bolts from the top down. – Mark Orner
Reassuring review: I planned to upgrade several components for my truck: new strut assemblies, leveling kit, tie rod ends, control arms, sway bar links, and sway bar bushings. The installation went smoothly, and just to be safe, I even upgraded to grade 8 bolts from Lowes. With the new control arms in place, I was able to install the bolts facing down without any problems. I also removed the lower valance and shared before and after pictures, giving my truck a clean and impressive look. I’m extremely pleased with the final outcome, especially knowing that the entire front end is in great condition. I’m getting an alignment this weekend, so everything should be good to go. Trust me, this set will make your truck look perfect. By the way, I have 275/65/18 Kuhmo Crugens that give it a very sleek appearance. – Kellie Anderson
Updated review: After inspecting the front of the truck with it jacked up, I discovered that the strut mount/bolts actually make contact with the CV boot when the suspension is offloaded. This could be problematic if the suspension is articulated enough off-road. As a result, I decided to swap them out with Bilstein 5100s.
I understand there is conflicting information regarding whether this will clear the CV axles and boots on the newer Silverados. However, after browsing a forum, I decided to give it a try. To get the bolts past the CV axle, I simply had to drop the upper ball joint. Currently, there is approximately half an inch of clearance between the CV boot and the strut, and after driving 500 miles, I haven’t noticed any issues. This method was much easier than having to use a spacer on top of the strut.

Helpful review: The leveling kit appears to be of good quality and I’ve had it installed for a few months without experiencing any issues. The kit includes blocks for the rear, but if you’re aiming to level your vehicle, you won’t need these blocks. I have a 2016 Silverado and the front lift perfectly leveled it. Installing the rear blocks will result in remaining lower in the front. If you’re simply looking for a leveling kit, I recommend opting for the cheaper one that only includes front spacers (in my opinion). – Kevin
Trending review: I had to lift my 2020 Silverado 1500, but the bolts were too short to snap the plastic cap back on top of the front driver’s side spring. As a solution, I compressed the front coils to rotate them in order to successfully reinstall the cap. – Pete
Reassuring review: The truck looks awesome after everything was installed and aligned. It ran down the road smoothly with no problems. In fact, the ride feels even better than before the kit was installed, with no rough or bumpy feel when going over rugged terrain. Helpful review: The High Country comes equipped with a self-leveling lever/arm, which is adjustable during installation to ensure a perfect fit. This feature is particularly beneficial for models without self-leveling capabilities. I had to pay an additional $150 for this customization, but it was worth it to have it professionally installed. – Elan Saraf

Compatible with 2007-2019 Chevrolet & GM 1500 Pickups
Highlight: This modification will raise both the front and rear of your truck by 3″ and 1″ respectively, replacing the factory rear block in the process.
Reviews of customer
Helpful review: I installed this awesome kit on my 17 Silverado and it exceeded my expectations. The level kit was well-packaged with all the necessary hardware and felt extremely sturdy. I don’t anticipate any issues with this kit.
The installation took longer than expected, but watching tutorial videos on YouTube beforehand made it much easier. It took us about 4 hours to complete one side of the front kit, but only 1 hour for the other side using the helpful tips we learned.
My only complaint is that I wish the paper instructions included torque specs. The u bolts in the rear had a different thread than the factory ones, so I wasn’t sure what torque to use. Eventually, I tightened them to about 70ftlbs, which was tighter than the factory recommended, but it felt sufficient.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this kit and would definitely buy it again. If you’re interested, I’ve attached some before and after pictures. – Conway Bolt
Trending review: I installed these on my truck in March 2017, and I absolutely love them. They gave my truck a stunning appearance by raising it just enough in the front and rear, resulting in a total lift of about 2 inches all around. Now, my truck sits perfectly with 35’s and zero rubbing. The installation process was fairly easy and affordable. If you’re not eager to spend a fortune on a suspension lift right now, these are perfect. LOL – Whitney G.
Reassuring review: The 2015 Chevy 1500 4×4 is definitely worth buying. The installation is straightforward, but for warranty issues, I had a shop put mine on. It will make your truck sit level, even when driving through fields and creeks. I’m running 305/55/20 tires with no rubbing. – Bushwhacker
Most-discussed review: I would highly recommend this kit for installation by a knowledgeable auto mechanic rather than a homeowner. Not only does it look good with 285/75/18 tires, but it also provides a slightly stiffer ride compared to the stock option. – V C.

Helpful review: The installation took about 4-6 hours, so make sure you have a couple of Jack’s and jack stands if you’re working on the ground. I love the look, and I wouldn’t mind going another inch with the rear blocks to a 3″. – Joe 7983

Helpful review: The installation was easy, and the fit was perfect. To complete the leveling kit, adjustable ride height sensor links are still needed. This adjustment prevents headlights from shining upwards when the truck bed is loaded. The ride quality is perfect, matching the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) setup. What sets these kits apart is the Daystar brand. As a company, they excel in standing behind their product. Highlight: 2.5″ Leveling Kit including new Tubular Upper Control Arm. 2006-2017 DODGE Ram 1500 4WD
Reviews of customer
Helpful review: Disclaimer: While installing these, I encountered some difficulties due to the lower strut bolts being seized in their bushings. However, if it weren’t for that, the installation would have taken only 3 hours. The control arms are of excellent quality and the balljoints seem solid. The inclusion of bump stops to limit downward travel is a brilliant idea that works perfectly. My truck now sits at a perfectly level height and feels like a whole new vehicle. Although one of my old struts ruptured after installing the pucks, it was expected since they were worn out. I highly recommend this leveling kit, even if you are considering leveling struts. The added benefits of the bump stops and control arms make it well worth it. – Aaron T.
Trending review: These were purchased to correct the upper ball joints during leveling. Instead of using the supplied block, leveling struts were used. The outcome was excellent. – jacob
Reassuring review: This kit gave me the advertised 2.5 inches of lift in the front, which is awesome. The control arms included in this kit are incredibly strong and sturdy. Although the directions were not great, I found plenty of helpful videos on YouTube. My ten-year-old daughter and I were able to install it together, and we finished in just four hours. – Johnphinney1982
Updated review: After a hassle-free installation, no alignment was necessary. I must mention that the customer service at ReadyLift is exceptional. I did encounter a minor problem with a ball joint that got damaged during shipment, but once I notified them, they promptly responded and sent a replacement the next day. 10/KSP 3″ Front Leveling Kits for Silverado 1500 2WD/4WD 2007-2019
Top-rated: 666+++ ratings | 50+++ answered questions
Compatibility: Fit for 2007-2019 Silverado 1500 2WD/4WD, 2007-2019 Sierra 1500 2WD/4WD (New body style).
Highlight: Raising your truck’s front by 3″ is now easier than ever. However, it’s important to note that the ratio between lift height and kit thickness may not be 1:1 due to suspension geometry. Therefore, we highly recommend performing an alignment after installation to ensure optimal performance and aesthetics.
Reviews of customer
Helpful review: Great value for money. However, there are a couple of areas where some changes would have been beneficial:
It would have been helpful if the bolts were 1/2 inch longer to ensure that the factory wiring harness could be kept in place.
Although this lifted my truck’s front end by exactly 4.5 inches, it is not ideal because it doesn’t match the 3-inch lift on the rear. As a result, I had to spend additional money to have the rear lift redone. – Andrew7387
Trending review: I highly recommend getting a 2.5″ for a perfectly leveled sit in your 2018 LT Z71 Silverado. I purchased the 3″, but the front sits slightly higher, which I don’t prefer. The installation was easy. – Saul E Figueroa
Reassuring review: The way this kit lifted and leveled my GMC is exactly how it should have been designed from the start. It’s a far superior alternative to using a spacer below the strut. – Todd
Updated review: I faced some issues with the package as it was damaged and missing bolts and nuts. To make it work, I had to purchase additional bolts and nuts.
The installation process is fairly simple. You don’t need to remove everything; just drop the upper ball joint, remove the 10mm bolt to the brake line, and loosen the tie rod. Then, you can remove the three bolts from the strut, leaving the two shock bolts intact. With a little pressure using your foot, you can create enough room to place the spacer. Finally, use a jack to align everything back into place.
The entire installation process took me approximately 45 minutes in total. – James w gray

I’m Timothy Ballard, owner of a used car dealership in Springfield. I love just about everything automotive, but I have a special place in my heart for trucks. I’m an ASE Certified Master Technician, so I know my way around a car. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my family and hiking new trails.
Hey everyone,
I need some advice on a front-end leveling kit for my 2019 RAM 1500 – Crew Cab – Laramie – 4×4 – Ivory White – Sports Package – 3.92 GR. Currently, I have 33-inch KO2’s on it, and the ride is still great. However, I want to level it out without compromising its incredible performance.
Could you recommend the best value-for-money leveling kit? I’m not looking for something overly expensive, but I do want good quality. If you have firsthand experience with a leveling kit that doesn’t affect the ride much, please share your insights. Also, if you have any suggestions regarding the size, company, and any direct links, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!

Get the Readylift 2inch with the UCAs…not all leveling kits are the same, stay away from the pucks IMHO, the RL with the UCAs rides just as stock.
Bilstein 5100 shocks are highly recommended in the Ram Forum for their minimal impact on the ride experience.
Been riding on bilsteins since ’18 and love them.
