I’m Timothy Ballard, owner of a used car dealership in Springfield. I love just about everything automotive, but I have a special place in my heart for trucks. I’m an ASE Certified Master Technician, so I know my way around a car. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my family and hiking new trails.
Manufacturers and their subpar paint quality have become a major concern for coatings. With the thickness and quality of applied paint reaching an all-time low, people are resorting to coatings as a means of protecting their clear coats. Consequently, the burden of dealing with subpar paint quality has been shifted onto the consumer. If the manufacturer’s paint fails to endure the lifespan of the car, it essentially becomes a “wear item” akin to a brake pad.
